On Monday we went the LSDS Halloween Swing Dance Party for Bop!
research. One of the lovely ladies we met was Jane Fryers, who is not only a beautiful and sweet lady, but also a supremely talented one!

And her second talent? Her and her gal pals are also known as the
Shellac Sisters - a group of dames who play 78s on wind up gramophones. They have played all sorts of events, Stephen Jones 25th Anniversary, The Arts Council’s Knitted Wedding in Battersea Park, the anniversary of the Beyond Retro vintage emporium, and 1920s surrealist club Klub Dada
